A cake is not only about the looks. That's why when it comes to my creations, I took great care in sourcing the best products that England (for most of them) has to give. Here in the West Country, we are lucky enough to have some of the very best at our doorstep, and that's where I got some of my most important ingredients from: Organic butter, organic flour, and free-range eggs... For the rest, I only had to look a bit further out to find passionate producers, respectful of the environment and who carry a real message behind each of their products: Montezuma's organic chocolate, organic raw cane sugar to name a few... 

In that state of mind, we try to work in-season as much as possible. Some flavours based with preserved products (jams and curds) can be found all year round, and some others will only be found in season. If your cake consultation happens in a different season than your wedding, you will be offered all year rounders flavours, and potentially one or two flavours from the current season to give you an idea of what Zaza Marcelle's cake taste like. 

These flavours are for wedding and celebration cakes alike.

ALL YEAR AROUND FLAVOURS

Lovely Lemon | lemon sponge with lemon curd and buttercream

 

Victoria Sponge | the classic, vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and raspberry preserve

 

Chocolate truffle | a dark and beautiful chocolate sponge layered with dark chocolate ganache. 

 

Chocolate & Praliné | the same chocolate sponge, filled with homemade hazelnut and almonds praliné buttercream (with orange zests in option)

 

Banana & Spices | the moistest banana sponge loaded with spices and filled with Vanilla Buttercream

 

Carrot Cake | a classic carrot sponge full of flavours and spices filled with vanilla buttercream.

 

Coffee & Hazelnut | A twist to the classic Coffee & Walnuts, a moist coffee sponge filled with homemade hazelnut praliné buttercream.

SPRING/SUMMER FLAVOURS

Almond, lemon and raspberry | a light almond sponge baked with raspberries and filled with lemon curd and buttercream. A must-have!

Maroccan Orange Blossom, Pistachio & Raspberry | a moist Orange sponge baked with fresh raspberries and filled with a homemade pistachio cream

Creamy Mint & Strawberry | a vanilla sponge with creamy white chocolate ganache infused with fresh mint filling and strawberriy coulis

AUTUMN/WINTER FLAVOURS

Orange & Chaï | a moist orange sponge infused with Chaï spices and filled with Vanilla Buttercream

Chocolate, Hazelnut & Orange | a rich chocolate and orange sponge filled with Hazelnut praliné Buttercream

Milk Chocolate & Mango | a vanilla sponge baked with fresh mangos, filled with milk chocolate ganache

Zaza Marcelle's kitchen has been rated 5 Stars by the Food Standard Agency.

While every measure is taken to minimize the risk of cross-contamination, known allergens such as nuts, Gluten, dairy, and eggs are processed daily in the kitchen. Gluten free, Nuts-free and Eggs-free options are offered for people with intolerances only.

I will not provide cakes for people with severe allergies as they could endanger their lives.
